Meal Suggestions are generated by the GMI Engine to help you select meals (and portion sizes) that will improve your GMI. They take into account your personal tastes and preferences and are based on foods that you have logged and Meal Libraries you have opted into.
Meal Suggestions are offered for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. If you've already logged your meal and want to know what else you could eat with it that would improve your GMI, simply click the Suggestions button to view Partial Meal Suggestions.
Meal Suggestions are also great for helping to plan for tomorrow's meals. To view suggestions for the next day, simply go to the next day's log and click the Suggestions button.
To review Meal Suggestions, go to the Log section and click the Suggestions button next to a meal.
Use the arrow keys to toggle between and compare different meal suggestions. Clicking the left or right arrows displays more meal suggestions. Your GMI will increase by the amount indicated in the gray bubble if you log the meal in the portions indicated.
To filter by Suggestion Source, simply go to the Filter Suggestions drop-down menu, and check the boxes for the sources you would like to include.
If you would like to view all of the Suggestion Sources, click the See all suggestion sources link. Read more about Suggestion Sources here.
Good Measures meets you where you are by giving you Meal Suggestions that are based on your past meals. You can personalize your Meal Suggestions by letting the GMI Engine know your preferences.
Let's say you were traveling, and ate a meal at a restaurant that you would unlikely eat again. You can tell the GMI Engine to never recommend this meal by selecting the Never Again button.
Or, if you liked a meal, but didn't want to eat it at the time it was suggested to you, select the Not Now button and the GMI Engine will remove it from the Suggested Meals rotation for one week.
If you want to log a Meal Suggestion, click the Log This Meal button, and it will appear in your log. If you would like to edit portion sizes, you can do so on the Log page.
