Ready to try something new? If you are curious about foods and meals will help improve your GMI, then visit the Good Measures Suggestion Sources, in your My Foods section of the Good Measures website. There, you can:
select the Sources from which you would like your suggestions to be generated
browse, filter, and sort meals in a Source
print meals
log a meal
view nutrition information for a meal
To browse the Suggestion Sources available to you, choose Suggestions Sources from the My Foods drop-down menu.
If you would like to add a Suggestion Source to your Meal Suggestions, simply check the box to the left of its name, then click the Save Selections button.
To view a sampling of meals from a Suggestion Source, click on the name of the Source (in orange).
When viewing meals in a Suggestion Source, you can filter your results by:
Meal (breakfast, a.m. snack, lunch, midday snack, dinner, or p.m. snack)
Dietary Restriction (such as an allergen or presence of gluten)
Search Term. Enter terms in the Find meals with field to find meals that contain a particular term or terms in either the meal name or ingredients. If your preference is for meals that do not include a particular food (for example, if you do not like mushrooms), enter that food in the and without field. In both fields, using a comma between search terms will find matches that contain one term OR the other, whereas not separating terms with a comma will find matches that contain BOTH terms (AND search).
To create a printable PDF of selected meals in a Suggestion Source, check the meals you would like to include and then click the Print button. This will create a PDF in your browser download folder. If any of the meals contain recipes, those will be included at the end of the PDF.
Click on the info button to view nutrition information for a particular meal. Click on the Log button to log that meal.
To view meals in the portions that are right for your calorie and nutrient needs, go to the Live portion of the Good Measures website and select Meal Suggestions.
