The Daily Details page in the Learn section is a detailed report that compares your Nutrient Goals (Goal) to the nutrients in the food that you logged (Actual) for a particular date.
To create your Nutrient Goals, we use the information you’ve provided about your height, weight, age, gender, activity level and the nutritional guidelines provided by the Health and Medicine Division of the National Academies of Science (HMD) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). *
Next, the GMI Engine applies what you’ve told us about your personal objectives related to weight maintenance, weight loss, or weight gain.
Your Nutrient Goals for calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, saturated fat, and fiber are adjusted if you log exercise.

*If you have special nutritional needs, or a strong preference for goals different than the national guidelines provided by the HMD and USDA (i.e., you follow a particular expert like Dean Ornish) Good Measures can customize your nutrient goals.
