Long Term Goal Menu
Here’s where you tell us what you want to work on over time.
You can choose as many as you want—we recommend selecting between 1-3 long-term goals.
Select the goals you want to work on and select Save to continue.
Next we give you options for choosing bite-size goals. These are smaller activities that can help you work toward your long-term goal(s). We recommend choosing 1-3 bite-size goals to work on at a time.
Step 1. Select a goal you want to work on.
Step 2. Next you can set the details: how long you want to work on the goal, how many days each week, and other details. Select Finish to save the goal.
Step 1. If you want to work on a goal that you don’t see on Add a goal, select Create Your Own Goal.
Step 2. Add details about your goal: give it a name, description, number of days you want to do it.
Example of Create Your Own Goal with a target:
Your goals and progress appear on your home page in the Progress card. Click the arrows to view your other goals. You can click on the goal and see more details about it on your Goals page.
Your goal status also appears on your Goals page:
If you want a specific goal to always appear first, you can set it as a “main goal” by selecting the ribbon on the top right of the goal card.
You can update your progress on the Progress card (home page) or on the Goals page.
Goal progress for water intake, activity minutes, steps, weight, and the Good Measures Index are automatically updated whenever you log your meals and activity into the Good Measures app or when your connected devices (such as a scale or Fitbit) send data to Good Measures.
Tip: If you have set a weight goal, but do not have a connected scale, you can update your weight yourself. (You can learn more about Weight Tracking here.)
For other types of goals, you will need to indicate when you did the activity. If you forgot to update your progress on any previous days, you can always update the goal at any time.
If you decide you don’t want to continue with a goal, select the trash icon on the top right. That deletes the goal.
Go to your Goals page. Your Active Goals appear in the center of your screen.
When you complete a goal, you get a gold star!
If you select Move to completed goals, the system will keep a list of all completed goals so you can see how far you have come! Once you have completed a goal, you won’t be able to edit it.
You can set new Long Term Goals and Bite-Size Goals at any time.
Select +Add Goal to add a bite-size goal related to your Long Term goals.
Select View/Update Long Term Goals to add or revise your Long Term Goals.
You can change a goal you set by selecting the pencil on the top right goal card.
Now you can edit the goal and select Update to save your changes.
